Gov. Mark Dayton recently returned from a trade mission to China that included a 50-member delegation of business and industry association executives, higher education leaders and state government officials.
Zhao Zhengyong, was born in March 1951 in Ma’anshan, Anhui Province. Beginning his career in November 1968, he joined the Communist Party of China in November 1973. Graduating from Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (the current Central South University), he received his master’s degree from the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC. He is now deputy secretary of CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Governor of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government.
