It will take 6 to 12 months for an investor to get a conditional green card. Removal of the conditions, giving a full green card, takes another 24 months. The process can be slower or faster depending on a variety of circumstances. The minimum amount of time it will take to get a conditional green card depends on the processing time of both the US government and the government of the Investor. The important thing is to fill out
the applications quickly and accurately so that the application can get in front of all the other applications waiting to be processed.

File Petition, USCIS form I-526. 6-8 months is the processing time listed on the USCIS website, but the averages are taking 12 months as of April 2014.
Obtain EB-5 Visa and enter US within 180 days of Visa approval. Once enter US you’ll be granted conditional permanent residence for a two years (conditional green card).
File I-829 petition to remove condition 21 months after receiving conditional green card. Expected processing time is 6-8 months. Upon approval full green card is issued.
